james rogers

CO-OWNER

James Rogers grew up on a family ranch and has been driven to succeed in the cattle industry since he was 14 when his father helped him start a herd of registered Angus cattle. Although his original interest and education at Ricks College were in cattle genetics and beef production, James turned to real estate brokerage and managing a land investment company for his business experience. Returning to his roots in agriculture, he was hired as the General Manager of the Winecup Gamble Ranch in 2010. He undertook the job of rebuilding the one-million-acre empire anew with initiatives in soil regeneration, grass-fed beef, and changes to national public land grazing policy. James is active in several stewardship alliance groups and continues to foster constructive relationships with state and federal land/wildlife agencies as well as many non-governmental organizations. He is a board member of the Western Landowners Alliance (WLA) with committee involvement on public land grazing policy.
